Apprentice Animal Care Assistant
We are looking for an apprentice animal care assistant to join our team at Smart Dogs. We are a dog grooming business that also offers other services to our customers such as dog walking and a doggy day care facility.
The successful applicant will be working towards gaining a level 2 diploma in work based animal care with Keits.  For more information about the course go to www.keits.co.uk

To commence March 2012
Hours:
Monday to Friday to include 2 Saturdays a month (with a day off during the week for Saturdays).  Hours will need to be flexible with a minimum of 30 hours a week.
Job description and requirements:
  • A clean driving licence.
     
  • You will need to be able to be confident enough to deal with the public on a one to one basis.
  • Must be reliable and able to work as part of a team.
  • Most importantly you must like dogs, cats and animals.
     
  • Preparing dogs before being groomed, this includes washing & drying of them.
  • Dog walking.
  • Collection service.
  • Assisting the dog groomers.
